An old Sensei sat down on the same stone at the edge of the garden every dawn.

He didn't meditate spectacularly, he didn't mumble words.

He was just there.

A student once asked him:

- Master, what are you doing so still for so long?

The old man smiled.

- I listen to what doesn't speak.

- And what does silence say? - the boy asked.

- That everything is fine even when you don't understand it yet.

The student thought about this for a long time.

For years he searched for answers in books, people, and roads.

But he couldn't find peace anywhere.

One day he got tired.

He didn't search any further.

He just sat down on the same stone where the master had once sat.

And at first he didn't want to understand anything.

He didn't want to be better.

He didn't want to arrive.

He was just there.

Then he understood: Silence is not the answer to questions.

Silence is the place, Where questions are no longer important.

And where there are no more questions, the soul finally finds its way home.

Not every road leads forward.
