Blind Man with a Lantern 

Once upon a time there was a blind man who always walked the streets with a lantern. People were amazed and asked him: 

- Why do you carry a lantern, since you can't see the light anyway? 

The blind man smiled and replied: 

- So that you can see me. So that you don't bump into me and fall because of me. I can't see, but I can still look out for you. 

The moral of the story: Sometimes those who live in darkness themselves give us light - and we may not even realize what a great gift this is.
