Third Sunday of Advent.
Third Sunday of Advent.
(Thought Book)
The light of the third candle is not loud.
It does not call, does not urge, does not promise anything in return.
Its pink light reminds us
that joy does not come when everything is ready,
but when we are no longer afraid of not being good enough.
This candle is not about achievement.
Not about what we have put on the table.
But about daring to stand.
The hand that appears in the darkness does not ask.
It does not grab.
It is only open.
Because joy is not a reward.
Joy is a recognition:
we do not have to redeem ourselves to be lovable.
A sentence to be engraved in stone – for the Third Sunday of Advent
"Joy is born where fear no longer asks for an explanation."
