The sweeter victory.

Nothing special happened that day.

Only another door remained closed.

Papers wandered from one table to another, words slipped off your shoulders, and "tomorrow" became a little harder again.

At such times, you stop for a moment.

Not spectacularly.

Only inside.

You ask yourself: is it worth going any further?

The answer is not loud.

There is no applause, no encouragement.

Just a quiet feeling:

"you've come this far."

And that's enough.

Because the path doesn't become true because it's easy, but because it's walked.

In the evening, when everything is quiet, you realize something that you can't notice during the day: Closed doors don't stop you, they only strengthen the step you take towards the next one.

And when one door does open, there will be no triumph in it.

Just a deep, calm smile.

Because whoever gets this far already knows: it's not how fast we get there that counts, but that we don't turn back.
