The road that leads home.

12/02/2026

The road that leads home.

"There are roads that are not measured in kilometers, but in the fact that we get closer to ourselves again."

Sitting behind the wheel, you don't always know where you're going.

Sometimes you just go.

Kilometer after kilometer.

Through cities, borders, days.

That day was no different.

Winter had not yet let up, but the sun was no longer cold.

The road was bathed in golden light, as if someone was shining a light on you from afar.

The quiet hum of the engine filled the silence.

There was no radio.

There was no phone.

Just the road... and thoughts that finally stopped running forward.

We often believe that the goal is what's important.

That you have to get there.

On time.

Quickly.

Efficiently.

But that morning something different happened.

You noticed that you weren't in a hurry.

And when he wasn't in a hurry... something caught up with him.

Not a car.

Not a memory.

But himself.

The questions he had suppressed for months.

The silences he had always filled with noise.

The feelings he had never given time to.

Now they sat beside him, speechless.

Without accusation.

They were just present.

And the road... went on.

It didn't ask.

It didn't urge.

It didn't promise anything.

It just took him forward, just at the pace the soul could go.

That's when he understood:

There are roads that don't lead on the map.

Not to a city.

Not to a house.

Not to a person.

But to the place where you finally don't have to prove yourself.

You don't have to hurry.

You don't have to appear strong.

Just be.

And when you understand this, something strange happens.

The outside world does not change.

The road remains the same.

Winter remains winter.

But inside…

there will be silence.

A silence that is not empty.

But holds.

And in this silence it suddenly becomes clear:

Not every journey leads to a destination.

Some lead home.

Not to an address.

Not to a door.

But to where one finally seeks nothing.

Because one has arrived

In oneself.
