The ladder and the apple.
The ladder and the apple.
Instructive story
There was once a ladder that everyone used to reach the apples on the tree. People climbed on it, picked the fruit, lived well, and left with satisfaction. However, the ladder was just standing, quietly, and kept those who stood on it.
But the tree wasn't his.
The fruits were owned by others and enjoyed by others. The ladder only got what had fallen: a few apples fell to the ground. He did not complain, did not demand - he knew it was up to others.
But once the day came when people asked for the ladder:
- You ate the apple too! You're not innocent!
The ladder said only:
- Yes, I ate the fallen fruit. But without me you would never have reached the mature apples on the tree.
And then there was silence. Because everyone understood that the ladder itself might not take the fruit, but without it they could never have access to it. His strength was the foundation on which others could cling to.
The lesson is:
Are, who keep the lives of others invisibly. They are the quiet forces without whom there would be no fruit on the table.
