The heavenly spark

There was a moment when the sky and the earth came together.

In the dark, a single spark flashed and his light illuminated the sky.

Below, in the valley, was a lone candle. He hadn't burned yet, just waiting for the light to reach.

When the spark's rays came to him, it caught fire.

Not from its own power, but from the light that came from above.

And from that moment on, the candle was illuminated - not for himself, but for those around him in the dark.

The spark did not pass. He stayed in the candle.

And it stays in all of us who continue to bring the light.
