The Garden of Waithing.

The Garden of Waiting.

There was once a couple who longed for a child. Their home was warm, their hearts full of love, but the cradle in the corner remained empty.

One day, as they were walking through a meadow, they met an old gardener who was planting small trees.

"Why do you plant them?" asked the couple. "It will take years for them to grow."

The gardener smiled. "Because the greatest things in life take time. Every seed I plant carries a promise. I may not see the full tree, but I know it will bring shade and fruit for someone who needs it."

The couple thought about his words. And from that day on, they cared for their own garden—watering it, tending it, waiting patiently. Seasons passed: spring, summer, autumn, and winter. At times they felt weary, at times impatient, but they kept nurturing the soil.

Then one morning, when the air smelled of blossoms, they heard a bird singing in the branches of their garden. And not long after, a small tree they had cared for bore its very first flower.

At that moment, they realized: their love and patience had prepared them for something far greater than they could ever imagine. The flower was not just a promise—it was the beginning of life shared.

Moral:

Love is not measured by how quickly dreams come true, but by the patience and care we give while waiting. And when the time is right, what is meant for us will bloom.
