The Closed Gate.

The Closed Gate.

Once upon a time, there was a small town where every house had a strong iron door. People opened it every morning and closed it every evening, but they always took great care to ensure that only those they knew and accepted were allowed inside. Neighbors greeted each other, but they rarely sat down to talk: everyone was afraid that the other would say something that went beyond the usual framework.

In the middle of the town stood an old, crumbling stone gate that no one used. According to legend, whoever passes through it sees the world with different eyes. That's why they avoided it - after all, what if they see something they can't explain? It's better if the world remains simple, they thought.

One day, a wanderer arrived. He had nothing special with him, just a backpack and a smile. He asked the people:

- Why don't you use this beautiful gate?

- They laughed at him:

- It only brings trouble! It lets in things we don't understand.

However, the wanderer was curious and stepped through the gate. Nothing spectacular happened: he saw the same city, the same people. But something changed in his eyes. He also noticed something that others did not: freedom in the laughter of children, unspoken love in the painful silence, the desire for connection behind closed doors.

When he returned, he began to tell his story:

– It is not the gate that changes the world, but whether we dare to see it differently. We should not fear the unknown, but pay attention to it. Because that is where all new possibilities lie.

Many laughed at him, but some secretly walked to the stone gate. And slowly, one after the other, they stepped through it. Not everyone, but enough for more and more conversations to arise in the city and fewer and fewer doors to remain closed.

Lesson

People are often afraid of what they do not understand. But life does not truly unfold in the usual templates, but in the moment when we dare to look with open eyes - and hear with an open heart.

Csattanó:

Sometimes the brave one is not the one who knows the answers to all questions, but the one who dares to accept that the greatest gift lies in the unknown.
