The Bridge.

A village was divided into two parts by a river. On one side there was a lot of crops, on the other side there were a lot of working hands. They shouted to each other for a long time, but they couldn't get closer. One day someone laid a single plank across the river. The next day they added another. A week later a bridge connected them.
