Philosophical reflection

Spock's diary about Earth. 

"Sidereal time: the Earth's rotation is still undisturbed today. However, people stumble upon their own shadows. Often it seems as if they are looking for darkness instead of light, although the light is within them. Logically examined: every problem has a solution. However, from a human perspective: every solution raises a new question. Perhaps between logic and emotion lies the truth – compassion. As Spock, I observe: this planet is damaged, but it still lives. And as long as it lives, it also carries hope." 

A realistic story – A Day on Earth

A man woke up in the morning, with chaotic thoughts in his head: checks had to be paid, official matters had to be handled, family and friends had to be helped. He felt that 24 hours were not enough, and not all of them were his – because he lived the day for others. When he sat down in the evening, he silently wrote to himself: "I didn't have time for myself today, but I remained human. And maybe that was the true mission of the day."
