Not everyone screams when they are in trouble.

Not everyone stands in the middle of the square to be noticed.

There are people whose attitude is stronger than their need.

They are the ones who put on their coats even when there is nothing left to wear underneath.

Who smile while they are shivering inside.

Who ask, "Are you okay?" — even when they are not.

They do not ask.

They do not complain.

They do not count.

Not because they do not need help, but because they have learned that the world does not always hear the quiet voices.

They are the ones who give even the last.

Not for show.

Not for recognition.

Not out of stupidity.

But because they cannot live any other way.

The pure in heart are like that.

They are not heroes.

They are not saints.

Just people who can't stand it when someone is cold next to them.

And they are often the ones who are noticed the last.

Because they don't fall over.

They don't collapse.

They don't shout.

They just walk slower.

They just become quieter.

They just ask for less and less.

And yet they would be the ones who should be asked one day:

"How are you?"

Not out of duty.

Not out of pity.

But out of humanity.

Because the world doesn't collapse because few people help.

But because those who help are left alone.

And if this thought moves something in even one person — if someone recognizes themselves in it, or recognizes another — then the flame doesn't go out.

It just gets passed on.

Let's also pay attention to those who don't ask.

They keep the world warm — sometimes at their own expense.
